Outstanding food. Outstanding service. We decided on a leisurely seafood dinner, and course-by-course, from oysters to salads to sushi rolls the main fish course, the food was excellent. The meal took about two and a half hours, because we wanted it to. The service was attentive, patient, and never made us feel rushed to open the table. Best dining experience we've had in a long time. Our only regret was that we didn't save room for the banana cream pie. Definitely try the paella!
Our experience at the Red Eye Grill was both delicious and delightful. It was a most enjoyable evening.
Tables were VERY close together, but its a fun place with good food.
Excellent steak. I had the cowboy cut, medium rare. Good flavor. I found the vegetables well prepared, but somewhat bitter for my taste. The raising nut bread was excellent. The wine list prices are outrageous - mainly $200 - $400 per bottle. Go for a glass. The service was classy but friendly. I would characterize the setting and ambiance as typical for NY power-business meals.
We always have an excellent meal at the Redeye Grill. Our waiter was superb as well as the food. We visit NYC often, and always book a table for a meal at the Redeye. Always excellent service and food. It's reasonable priced for the quality you receive.
Dinner and service were very good. (though there was a delay with receiving dessert so we had to cancel the dessert since we had tickets for a concert) Prices are on the high side - shared appetizer, an entree, and only a soft drink came to more than $50 per person - luckily we don't drink alcohol or coffee. Festive atmosphere with a big expansive menu.
While they have a large selection of fish, their wiener schnitzel is a treat and one of the few places in this city that it is served with the traditional fried egg and spaetzel. Wide selection of fish as well as raw bar items and sushi. Always enjoy dining here prior to a Carnegie Hall performance.
Excellent food! We had the guacamole, which I had once before. Wonderfully prepared with chunks of avocado! The duck quesadilla was very good, but just a bit spicy for us. And the service is perfect! The staff is eager to serve and please! Will come back many times again.
Where can i begin, My boyfriend and i went for his Bday and from start to end it was GREAT!!! I had noted that we were there for a bday and our waitress, Jennifer, brought us 2 glases of champaign on the house. The sushi was fresh and as amazing treat. We both had steak which were cooked just as we requested the King Crab Scampi was excellent. They seved cotton candy for dessert and sang to my boyfriend. It was a memorable dinig expeirence and couldnt be happier with the overall place. Def recommend RED EYE GRILL!!!!
