It was too overbooked. Not enough staff. It took 25 minutes to get a menu. Then another 15 to order. I asked for a glass of wine that was listed on the menu by the glass. The waiter said they were out of that wine and replaced it with anything white wine. My mistake I did not ask the price. First wine was $17. The one he replaced it with was $38! Pre Carnegie Hall concert dinner, service was slow!!
Horrible Three of us had Dover sole and it was dry and tasteless At the end we complained and our server gave us attitude Overpriced and just awful Never again.
I couldn’t even tell you who our server was. Visited our table three times during our meal. Had a big bushy mustache. Second time in a row we’ve had poor servers who were inattentive to our table. Probably last visit to REG. Pretty forgettable experience.
Our service was as slow as snails. Caveat escargotus. The food quality as good but not great. We selected this restaurant because it was as across the street from the Manhattan Club. We were told that they offered free Prosecco and dessert with keycard to hotel. We got the glass of Prosecco after asking 3 times. When we got to the end of the meal our waitress told us that they had new manager who had decided not to honor a free dessert for Manhattan Club patrons. We made a reservation thru open table, made a note that we were celebrating birthday, no one really cared. We did order most of the highlighted plates on the menu but none was really outstanding, just mediocre. The service was subpar. We do like the location but I don’t think I will comeback for anything special, maybe for a light lunch.
The food was good. The drink pour was horrible.
Good for all 4 of us was cold and tasteless. Save your money. McDonalds is better.
