The Republic has been great to me so far. The maintenance team always promptly responds to service requests and the staff is really nice. The only issue is people don’t pick up after their pets which can be messy and annoying to walk around. Other than that I have never had an issue and enjoy living here.

I toured the Republic at Sam in October. It is a beautiful complex and the person who gave us the tour was great and answered all of my questions. The application process was super easy and explained well.

As I'm getting ready to move out of the dorms, this was the first place I visited. I absolutely love it! I walked in the front door for a tour, and every single employee greeted me and offered refreshments. It's kept clean and beautiful; very close to campus; easy access; and it's not crowded, which is how many apartment communities make me feel. Republic at Sam Houston review (I live in a 4 room complex with three other roommates.) Pros Given a utility package (which has a fee, though I believe it is worth it) which provides cable, electricity, and super fast internet (would recommend getting your own router for security and privacy however.) The complex is very active with its community and treats everyone with much respect. If there is an issue they will work it out with you and explain why things are happening. They have not cheated me out of anything and are up front with all information regarding your stay there. I would highly recommend moving in here, and even more so if this is your first time looking for an apartment. It is a great environment to learn everything you need to know for future apartment renting.

The Republic at Sam Houston has a wonderful and friendly staff, they have one of the best dog parks in town, and living here has been the best! It’s close to campus and the facilities and living spaces are always nice and clean, and if by some chance something goes wrong, their maintenance is awesome and fast!
