RecommendedAs I'm getting ready to move out of the dorms, this was the first place I visited. I absolutely love it! I walked in the front door for a tour, and every single employee greeted me and offered refreshments. It's kept clean and beautiful; very close to campus; easy access; and it's not crowded, which is how many apartment communities make me feel. Republic at Sam Houston review (I live in a 4 room complex with three other roommates.) Pros Given a utility package (which has a fee, though I believe it is worth it) which provides cable, electricity, and super fast internet (would recommend getting your own router for security and privacy however.) The complex is very active with its community and treats everyone with much respect. If there is an issue they will work it out with you and explain why things are happening. They have not cheated me out of anything and are up front with all information regarding your stay there. I would highly recommend moving in here, and even more so if this is your first time looking for an apartment. It is a great environment to learn everything you need to know for future apartment renting.

The Republic at Sam Houston has a wonderful and friendly staff, they have one of the best dog parks in town, and living here has been the best! It’s close to campus and the facilities and living spaces are always nice and clean, and if by some chance something goes wrong, their maintenance is awesome and fast!

From their fast maintenance to the helpful/friendly staff this community has done nothing but impress me since move in day. All my repairs were promptly fixed when I moved in and maintenance gets there fast (longest wait time from telling office to showing up to apartment was 2 hours).. Staff hosts community gatherings to help people meet new friends.. Amenities include large gym, pool, BBQ pits, lounge, tanning bed, computers with printer (papers free) all available 24 hours.. The republic is a really great place to live! The rooms are spacious and the overall complex is great! The gym at the complex is amazing!!!!! I have loved living here!
