What a great place to celebrate my birthday! it was just wonderful from start to finish
On our first visit to Ristorante, my husband and I had a fantastic dinner. He got the Caesar salad to start which was awesome. I got the soup special that was eh-okay. For our main meal, he ordered a spaghetti type dish (I don't recall the name) and he loved it. I got the filet. It was cooked perfectly and the accompanying potatoes were so good. It was a nice quiet Sunday night experience. It wasnt busy and we had great service.
This has been a favorite of ours for years......the food is always amazing and the service superb! We were disappointed, however, when the Bartolotta Group decided to switch the fabulous Bread from BREADSMITH to ROCKET BABY ...........truly, not the same and not as soft and yummy. Dining on a Monday or Tuesday is a bonus because they have half-price bottled wine! The Mussels are wonderful with a spectacular Saffron sauce; the pasta and eggplant with fresh mozzarella is my husband's favorite~a must try!
What a nice evening it was to stroll down the street and walk into such a lovely restaurant we were seated right away, and the service we perfect. a relaxed, delightful dining experience
We've been coming here since they opened. Thanks to the Bartolottas for keeping some old favorites on the menu like the beef carpaccio and the duck ragu and of course the bread is to die for. It my favorite Bartolotta's restaurant.
We had a fantastic time. The food was incredible, the wait staff was really good, and the dessert was fabulous.
Excellent martini from Josh as always. I went for my old standby - the ravioli in truffle butter and it was superb. My mom loved the wood fired pork chop and the chicken dish with brussels and mashed potatoes is always outstanding. Tried a new amaro after dinner which was fantastic and just what the doctor ordered for my head cold.
I was looking forward to divining at one of Wisconsin's most notable restaurants but was left feeling slightly shorted. My friends and I were looking forward to being wowed but we left feeling vastly underwhelmed. The food was ok but laced that something special. Don't let me dissuade you but be prepare to ask yourself what is all the fuss about.
