Went to Bartolottas to celebrate my wife's birthday. Great food, super service even though they were very busy. 1st decent spring day so we walked there. It was beautiful. The salmon was wonderful. We'll be back.
Our 18 year old picked Ristoraunte for his birthday - definitely my favorite restaraunt in greater Milwaukee
My fiance and I were celebrating our anniversary and it was the perfect setting, a nice, little, quaint setting with a wonderful staff and great food! We enjoyed our "duck rague" and our arugula/tomato/blue cheese salad very much. Would definitely recommend it - as well as this great place!
My family came from Chicago to take me to a nice restaurant for my birthday. My son and daughter-in-law like to dine out, and had asked me to make a reservation at a nice place. I chose Ristorante Bartolatta because I had never been there, and we all love Italian food. Our experience was near perfect. I would say that the only thing that would have made it more perfect would have been a table or booth off to the side, or in a corner. Having lived in Europe for several years, I miss Italian food. It's more than just red tomato sauce. Carpaccio is our favorite appetizer and Bartolotta's does not disappoint. Hand made pasta with duck ragu, meaty chunks of meat and the large portion enough for lunch the next day. Try the Lambrusco. It's a dry Lambrusco and a huge hit with the staff as each member of the staff that stopped by for service mentioned how much they loved it.
This was probably one of the best meals I've had in awhile . The only negative, it is a small place and tables are close.
Should have arrived earlier to find parking, but our table was ready on arrival. Plenty full, but service was great and food arrived promptly. Lots of wine choices and wonderful food choices. You have to try the mussels, and save room for dessert.
The food and service were excellent. I had the grilled salmon and it was one of the best I've ever had. I love the intimate setting and caring service. We were there with our sons celebrating my husbands birthday and it was a lovely evening. We will definitely return.
Rustic Italian, Old-World feel... Epic Wine list + great unique cocktails. Intimate dinning experience, so make your reservations in advance. Service is world-class. The Bartolottas have become known world-wide for their cuisine. The brothers have been featured on the food network, and most recently, Paul was a guest on the Top Chef finale episode (season 11).
