For my first time at THIS Bartolotta restaurant, I couldn't have been more pleased. The location in downtown Wauwatosa is quite a vibrant scene with a number of quality restaurants in a 2 block radius. The food was spectacular - from the pork chops and the paddadelle/duck to the skewered lamb special, these dishes were executed flawlessly and deliciously. Excellent food and service. We generally share food and rate each other's dishes. It was difficult to decide which was the best.
Bartolotta's is consistent. Excellent service and food. Their seasonal menu, available either on a prefix basis or ala carte' is creative and unique, at least in the greater Milwaukee area. The wine list could be a bit more expensive, and, as a result, I usually bring my own wine for a modest corkage fee.
Always consistent. Excellent options. Pasta is great and if your dietary requirements allow, don't miss the pork chop!
We went to Ristorante Bartolotta for my wife's birthday. The food is outstanding! All pasta is made fresh and the dishes are presented elegantly. We had the Pappardelle al Ragu d'Anatra, Rigatoni con Melanzane al Sugo di Pomodoro, and the Garganelli alla Panna con Prosciutto e Piselli. I recommend all three. Everything is amazing at Ristorante Bartolotta. It's comfortable, the drinks are impeccable. From the bread and olive oil to the misticanza di campo to the mussels and rigatoni, every bite is a joy. And the wine is always a great pairing. Josh, the bartender is delightful.
The food was excellent, have the mussels if you enjoy a delightful creamy wine sauce.
