Celebrated my husband's birthday. It was perfect. Great friendly service, perfect food for everybody, excellent presentation and taste. We had their special ravioly with black truffles and brazed lamb cheek with black truffles with great wine. We love this restaurant.
The black truffle pasta and lamb cheek courses were unique and outstanding. They were so good last week that we came back again and enjoyed them just as much a second time. The pasta was homemade and cooked Al dente. It fact it was almost crunchy, which may not sound appetizing, but with the simple truffle dressing was one of the most enjoyable, unique features of the dinner. Four of us ate at Ristorante Bartolotta's on a Friday night. Since it's not a very large place, make sure you make reservations early in the week! Service was excellent. Although the menu is not very big, the variety is good. Since the restaurant was at capacity, it was pretty noisy. We parked in a public parking area across the railroad tracks/bridge because parking is VERY difficult to find near the restaurant.
Wonderful...First time I ever licked the bowl after consuming the pasta and truffles dish.
As usual, the food was outstanding, as was the wine and the service. We come to be pampered and it works, every time. Thank you.
Have they expanded too much?
The restaurant was a little below expected overall- mainly for accommodation & noise, but the lack of parking/valet parking was a big disappointment.
Black truffle spaghetti and their main course lamb cheeks with black truffles were outstanding. We have to go there again soon.
Fabulous dining experience. We hadn't been there in a while and had forgotten how exceptional it is.
