Superb food. Excellent service. Met all expectations for a Bartolotta restaurant. The small size and closeness of the tables without any real noise abatement makes it a little difficult for conversation with larger groups.
As always the food and service were wonderful at the Ristorante!
Great Food - Great Service! The only problem I had was picking out the entree.
The four of us enjoyed a very nice dinner and conversation - the food and service were outstanding. We appreciated being seated in the corner so the noise was at a minimum. We also appreciated that the restaurant followed through with our reservation request of providing our dinner guests with a congratulatory dessert (on their recent marriage) without having to re reminded! We will definitely visit again!!
We had a wonderful dinner and every course was delicious. It tends to be a bit on the noisy side which is not a big deal for two diners but might be a little tough to carry on a conversation for a group of six or more. The service was excellent.
Best beef carpaccio I've ever had--EVER. You can't go to Ristorante without getting the duck ragu. It's like nothing I've ever tasted before. I didn't like panna cotta before I tried theirs--it's amazing! Best Italian restaurant in the city...maybe the best I've ever been too. :)
We had our usual stellar experience.
This is one of the most wonderful dinners we've had in Milwaukee (anywhere for the matter)...and, we've had quite a few. The prix fixe featured summer tomatoes and was a wonderful four plate experience. The second course of goat cheese ravioli was one of the best combination of flavors that I've ever had. Bravo! Service was wonderful as was the ambiance. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone who asks.
Used to be one of our favorite however the service is not great and the noise is just to much to have conversation with the person sitting next to you. The menu has fewer items to choose from which was disappointing.
