If it is a special occasion, we head to a Bartolotta restaurant! They are the best!
This is what fine dining is all about. Everything was fantastic. The wine list (all Italian) is amazing. We wish this restaurant was closer to our house, as then we'd dine here a lot more often. You will not be disappointed!

As always the meal and service was top notch.
We have been customers of this Bartollotas since it opened. We have occasioned the other restaurants, but this Bartollotas is our favorite. We had guest from Chicago, who are accustomed to good Italian Restaurants. Of course this was our choice to take them to dinner as we knew they would not be dissappointed and would have a great dining experience.
Mostly excellent food, as they took care of their mistake very graciously. 1/2 price wine bottles on Mondays and Tuesdays. We enjoyed!
The four course seasonal menu was excellent and the service, as always, was impeccable. We brought our two small children and our servers went out of their way to make them (and us, their parents) comfortable. Wonderful experice as always!
The food was melt in your mouth perfect. The salmon was crisp on the outside yet very moist. All dishes had a marvelous combination of flavors and textures. We enjoyed the wine our server recommended to go with our entrees. Service was not very attentive; couples on both sides of us arrived after we did and were served each course 10 to 15 minutes ahead of us. We waited so long that we lost interest on ordering dessert. Nice ambience but the tables are very close together and that can inhibit personal conversation.
One of our favorite restaurants for special occasions. The food is wonderful, with carpaccio appetizer, veal chops, veal and/or duck ragu and white truffle (Fall) specialities always consistently excellent. Their end-of-meal cheese sampling is outstanding as well. Good wine list and the use of top-end wine glasses (always a plus), excellent and attentive (without being obsequious) service and landmark setting combine to make Bartolatta's consistently one of Milwaukee's very best restaurants.
