Amazing Italian Food. Amazing Service.
Spectacular black truffle dinner and equally fine service. Mark and Michael always treat us like special guests. And they are expert at picking a wine to your taste.
Too many people in very limited space; otherwise, food was outstanding.
My husband and I hadn't been to Ristorante Bartolotta in several years - but remember loving the ambience and decided to try it for Valentine's Day. Ambience is still great as was the service - very attentive, but not annoyingly so. Dinner menu wasn't as impressive. I don't remember everything on the menu the last time we were there - but I did note that at least a few of the offerings were the same; didn't quite have the selections I/we was/were hoping for. Food very rich - lots of black truffle infusing.

Ristorante is always a superb dining experience and Thursday did not disappoint. We always look forward to eating at a Bartolotta restaurant.
As always, we had a fantastic experience at Bartolotta's. Everything was wonderful - the service, the wine, and of course, the food. We consistently find Bartolotta's to have the best service in Milwaukee. Their waitstaff is very knowledgeable and always very pleasant. We ordered the special black truffle tasting menu and it was a real treat.
Good but not great this time. Timing was off in the kitchen, or something. Special black truffel menu--was good but not great. Wine parings were good. Starter and 2nd main course were over cooked. Very atypical experience for the Bartolotta food group. Pleasant experience and meal for $125.00, but disappointing at $300.00.
Great food and always an interesting menu, service is somewhat pretentious and the waiters insist on hanging their backsides over your table while talking to the table next to you. I will never understand why a one room restuarant and bar can't combine the dinner and bar bills. Guess everyone wants their tips.
