Bartolotta's Ristorante is a great restaurant. Service and food are top notch. One of our all-time favorites.
It had been a couple of years since we have dined at this restaurant, and we are remissed it has been so long. The quality and authenticity of the Italina dishes is oustanding. The papardelle with duuck ragout and the homemade ravioli were to die for. Excellent wine list, attentive service and charming decor make this one of the best restaurant destinations in the Milwaukee area.
Very high quality food. Knowledgeable waitstaff. On the expensive side - would only come here for a special occasion (we had a gift certificate).
Our waitstaff was very good. The food was good but not great by any means. Everything was overdone with butter. Don't get me wrong, I love butter, but it seemed like all of the dishes and sides were drowning in the stuff. Instead of using seasonings to attain perfection, butter was used too much, which only hides the true flavor of the ingredients.
What a wonderful evening. Todd, our server, was amazing! We all brought out photos of our daughters so we could hook him up!
I have been to this restaurant on one prior occasion and was impressed with the quality of the food. This time, the food did not disappoint. However, we did get seated near the windows. Unfortunately, the space heater wasn't working and throughout the dining experience there was a chill. Overall, dinner was enjoyable and delicious. Wait Staff was top notch.
This restaurant is simply a "can't miss". The fine service is matched only by the fine food and atmosphere. Our party of four was lucky enough to sit at a booth near the front of the bar, where we could enjoy our food and drinks among the many other patrons doing exactly the same. We ate, we drank, we celebrated, and we solved the problems of the world in our conversation (too bad no one was taking notes!). Top notch in every respect.
One of our favorites! The homemade ravioli is wonderful, as is the half hen with roasted vegetables; absolutely delicious.
First time there -- food was excellent, service was great. Very relaxing evening . Parking can be a problem, so leave enough time to find a space, especially on weekends.
