I really question who is writing all these good reviews all of a sudden...
We moved into our apartment in August and have been disappointed since the first day. Many of our appliances have broken down, there is a horrific smell of sewage every morning when I walk to my car, we can also smell it in the apartment. So far the only saving grace has been the maintenance staff.
I lived here a year only because I signed a lease for that legnth of time. A lot of items were broken, which I discovered over the first week of living there. Maintance quickly fixed them, but they were things I felt would have been noticed if they had really looked over the apartment before assigning me to it. But things do break, so I ignored it.
Like many on this board I was fooled by the nice model apartment and decent sales skills of the office staff. I was eager to live in a "nice" apartment complex and not pay $1400, so much so that I subjected myself to a 35 mile commute each way to work.
Rosemeade is a well planned complex. It does have a great deal of amentities, like the gym,fax machine and the tennis courts. Things are in the right place inside my apartment. There is even a heater when you come in the door.. which is great for drying your boots.
The office staff are unbelievable. All the other comments are right on. They ruin an otherwise nice apt complex.
I moved in about 7 months ago. I can say that the apartments are nice, but they are poorly kept up and fixed after someone moves out. My foo in the kitchen has lost it's color and the walls in my bathroom were painted over some paper, know I have bubbles on my walls. The office staff was friendly when I moved in but when I started to make them aware of problems they maid it seems like they were...
I lived at Rosemeade for a year. I left because the buildings were shoddy and the management was unsympathetic and downright rude.
We are moving to the area from out of state and had planned on checking out Rosemeade. We are so very grateful to those who took the time to warn potential renters of the exhorbitant heating bills, leaks, and inadequate heating. It seems not only are the units poorly built and inadequately insulated, but also that management may need a few courses in people skills.
Rosemeade has a 3.2 star rating with 120 reviews.
