I wish I could go back to July and take a more critical look at the apartments; and not look at the model or believe that the average cost of electric(which includes your heat) is $100. Think of it as $100 during the summer, and $300 during the winter, and you'll be budgeting correctly.
I lived at Rosemeade for one year. I only stayed that entire year because lease breaking is a lot of work and extra time for the tenant, and it can be difficult to rent again after breaking a lease, no matter how valid the reason.
The apartments themselves are spacious but the location is awful. The cost of gas in the winter exceeds $200 per month!! People let their dogs do their business and they do not clean up after them. The maintenance does not keep up with the grounds and the trees are all overgrown. The pool is never cleaned and there is an odor when you are at the pool.
The apts are nice, but they are over-priced. The parkings good, and the facilities are nice, but the office staff are appalling! They will take your money at every oportunity, spring surprise fees on you without warning, and you should just give up on your deposit!
I have a one year lease, 2003-2004, and I. Cant wait to move. I wish I had singed one for 6 months. The staff in the office are rude only care for the rent to be paid on time. I had a couple of issues as soon as I moved in and I always have gotten no were. Although the issues with the maint/staff have been fixed quickly. I don't recommend this place to anyone.
