Customer service is out and lying and stealing seems to be the new America. This is a very dishonest company so avoid them and go with who ever else does pick up in your area. Back in June 2017 this lame service failed to pick up my trash one Monday. So I called and they told me to leave it at the curb and they would try to make it back when in area and if that didn't happen they would give me a credit . Their landfill is $35 for a pickup truck full of garbage which isn't bad. But they only have one window to take the money and sometimes you go in there and you wait a half an hour trying to get up to the window. That needs correcting.
So.....when they picked up my trash on 6/12, they also took one of the wheels..I called them on 6/14 to inform them of the error. They promised to pickup on 6/15. On 6/16 I told them that the container had not been picked up/repaired or replaced. They promised to pickup on 6/19...you guessed it...not picked up. Today they informed me that they had 7 to 10 business days to pickup. Plus, new information, the container has to remain at the curb the entire time for them to pickup at their leisure. When providing a service, and the customer has a legitimate complaint about your service, you would think the company would do their best to correct the issue. Not true here. I have contacted management several times and hear it will be corrected. It is corrected, but only briefly. I use them for residential waste and recycle. I am ready to move my business to their competition. If by chance Rumpke does pay to have this review removed, then I will add another later.
Consistently bad communication and service. Very unhelpful customer service people. And not very consistent with their pick up times either. Can certainly improve their service!
Not very good on showing up on time at rykers ridge in Jefferson county Indiana. 55 minutes late. New guy is really helpful. In helping unload. Other guy just talked to.people.
We have had problem after problem with Rumpke.They are extremely unreliable. Pay for pick up every two weeks and actually get a pick up about once every two months to the point the trash is overflowing! When you call with an issue they give you false promises to resolve it and never come though! Company has zero communication! Constantly put you on hold or tell you someone will call you back and they never do! No one ever knows what is going on there. Would not recommend to anyone!Worst service ever !
