TERRIBLE. We never had our trash actually picked up. We were constantly calling them the next day to have them come come pick it up. Then they busted a wheel on our brand new 90 dollar trash can, we called them to discuss it. They said multiple times that they would have someone call us back. Never did. We own a company so we would've gotten a voicemail or something. So we finally cancelled our membership. They kept charging us for 6 months and when I called they said they cancelled for nonpayment. My city contracted with Rumke and by the 5th week, Rumpke took everyones trash on my street but mine. I called the company and 3 times they told me that someone would pick up my trash. Day 4, it still hasnt been picked up. VERY poor way to run a business and very poor work ethics on the part of the workers. I will cancel my service if it happens again.
6 times out of 13 weeks they did not pick up my trash. This is the time. I am changing company. Tired of the same answer sorry, leave trash out will be picked up within 3 days. Then they never do pick it up and called again their standard answer they came out did not see it out and left. I'm done. rjc
Pulled up after the Rumpke garbage truck has been here, Our street is filled with trash and find out the cover to my dumpster is broken, so call it in and they said since it's resident owned property and not rental, we can't do anything about it. Wow!how about that for a start of your day.
In the last 6-7 months, Rumpke neglected to pick up my recycling 4 times when everyone else on the street had theirs picked up. The first question was if I had anything it the cart that they won't pick up...nope. It was only clean cardboard and bottles. They promised to have it picked up within 24-48 hours and it is now over 60 hours and it is still not picked up. Well, now we have our road under major construction and the pick up was over 4 hours late. I had to make 3 calls to Rumpke office to get any answer. The driver has been here between 5-5:30am for the past two months and today so late. If safety is such a BIG concern for this company then the drivers should come early before the roadwork starts for the day! Again I probably won't get any response to this review. Our drivers do begin pickups in the early hours of the morning, but it is impossible to service all stops prior to daylight hours. One of the worst companies I've ever had to deal with. they skip at least once a month on picking up my recycling. I've had to take the time out of my day to call them just for them to say that someone will be by to pick it up and no one ever shows. this is the 4th time in 3 months this has happened. our trash gets picked up on Thursday and our last weeks recycling still hasn't been picked up and here it is.. it's Thursday once again. So, I have a lot of garbage out front. Mostly in bags or can's. They literally picked through it and decided what to take and not to take. Everything with material was shrink wrapped. So, I call and am told they will pick up one large item on the first pick up day of the month. After that it will cost 15.00 per item. So a lawn chair is considered a large item! Where do they get off? So ridiculous! Oh yea and it has to be scheduled. SMH
I wish I could give them zero stars. I've got three tiny limbs sitting out by my trashcan and they didn't take it. Holy crap a whopping 3 pounds of tree sticks and it's against their policy. They say I have to call-in a special pick up and charge me $10. I give them enough of my damn money. Are you freaking kidding me,
