My mother has been at Rush Court for 18 months. She is very content there and appreciative of the care she receives from many of the kind and thoughtful carers and staff. Although she has a small room, she loves the views over the fields from her window. She also much enjoys the beautiful garden and especially the floral display at the entrance. She enjoys the meals which are wide-ranging and adaptable. She finds all the staff to be exceptionally helpful and courteous. As a family, we are most grateful for the care that she ... read more

My aunt was given a very high standard of care during her time at Rush Court. The staff gave her excellent care and were friendly and patient. The food was of a very high quality. This is so important for residents/patients. She was very ill however was made as comfortable and welcome as possible. Overall a better experience than I was expecting. I hope I receive the same care and environment when/if necessary.

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback - it is really important to us. I am pleased that the experience, care, and support given to your aunt, was of such a good standard and a positive experience.

My mother lived in Rush Court from April 2022 until her death in May 2024. Rush Court was the only care home that she wanted to go to when she became unable to manage at her home. She very much enjoyed her time at Rush Court. She got on well with other residents and loved the rural setting and beautiful garden. The end-of-life nursing staff were excellent and made her final days as peaceful and dignified as nature allowed.

Business response:

Thank you for taking the time to provide this review. The staff team and residents will remember your mother fondly, and appreciate how much she enjoyed the setting and gardens. It was our privilege to care for your mother, particularly at the end of her life, and reassuring to read your testament to the dedicated/caring team at this very difficult time for all involved.

My mother was a resident at Rush Court for over three years. She was very engaged when she arrived, although it was a big change for her. Unfortunately she was there during Covid, which very much restricted her life but the home kept her safe. As restrictions lifted, it was good to take her out. She has been registered blind and then lost her hearing. The staff were all wonderfully patient and kind with her. We were happy with the home.

Business response:

Thank you very much for your positive feedback/review, it is always pleasing to receive and to hear that you and your family were very satisfied with the care/support provided to your mother during her time with us. I will as always share your feedback with the wider team.

Mum has been a resident at Rush Court since January 2023. She has been happy here. The staff and management are kind and caring. There is a lovely homely feel about the home. When she joins in with the activities she always enjoys them. We as a family are happy to know she is safe, happy and well looked after. Thank you.

My mother arrived at Rush Court in November 2023. We were apprehensive as we were moving her from another country. The whole process was extremely smooth. Not only was my mother made to feel incredibly welcome but the whole family was very warmly welcomed. We honestly felt like the staff couldn't do enough for us. My mother has complex health needs and we've had a lot of support with this. Her room is beautifully appointed and the meals are always excellent. The program of events and entertainment is varied and covers all in... read more

We find everyone at Rush Court to be caring and empathetic to our mother's needs. We chose Rush Court after another relative was there in 2022, and if anything the standards are higher now than they were before. Each relevant member of staff is aware of her needs, likes and dislikes, and all know her by name. In her words, she feels 'safe and looked after' at Rush Court.

Business response:

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review and I am so pleased that read the lovely comments about the team and the home as a whole. It is always good when people choose us to look after their loved ones , based on past experiences and local reputation. We will ensure your feedback is shared with the wider team and the areas where we fell short of the 5 stars - we shall continue to work on and help us improve.

My mother has been at Rush Court for several years now and has been well looked after and cared for. The quality of the home is excellent, and she now reports that the meals are good. There have been challenges with staff turnover during the time of her stay including managers, however, it has had little impact on her situation. One of the major problems we have is with communications. My wife and I live in Canada so are only able to visit my mother once or twice a year. In spite of ongoing promises to improve communications... read more

Business response:

Thank you for your feedback, which overall is very positive and we were privileged to take care of your mother in her latter years. We have worked hard on recruitment in the past 12 months and have reduced agency use to a minimum, as we know that when using agency it can impact on service delivery. I acknowledge your concern about communication with families /keeping them updated about their loved ones, but particularly when they are unable to visit and /or live abroad. We will continue to work on improving communications in... read more
