The Salt Cellar is a Valley landmark restaurant, serving fresh seafood since 1971! Sourcing fresh from across the country as well as outside this country. i.e., Ora King Salmon from New Zealand. They fly in whole live Maine lobster and open them table side for their guests. Their fresh fish includes halibut, Chilean sea bass, Florida grouper, ahi as well as George’s Bank sea scallops and #1 white Mexican shrimp.

Very great food as fresh as a restaurant in ARIZONA can be - go there for a dressy night or a casual dinner it doesn't matter...Just go there!!!
Wonderful buckets of clams, good stuffed lobster, and great atmosphere
NEAT JOINT!!! DO YOU LIKE BOMB SHELTERS? Really food is smashing! The service is Smashing and so is the place itself. I just wish they had LOBSTER TAILS...I hate whole ones!
Great seafood! Being from the east Coast eating fresh seafood all my life, this was a real treat. Dining Room is great, but its really cool to have happy hour and get 4-5 appatizers between 2 people. you will get out , inc the tip for about $100. We spent hours three hours there and had a grand time. Would have stayed longer but they closed on us! casual to dressy! check it out.
The Salt Cellar is the best place to go for seafood in AZ. Good variety of food nat just seafood you can select from Alaskan King Crab legs, Lobster, steak, chicken, oysters, and a hugh fish board.

I love this place We started off by making a reservation well in advance as they are busy most of the time from what I hear. We had another couple with us so that made 4. We sat at a great round table whee we could all talk. Nice!! The server told us about some specials and we all tried something different and shared. Great Sea Food in a hole in the middle of the desert!!! A nice lady bartender at the airport Crowne Plaza Hotel in Phoenix reccommended Salt Cellar when asked about seafood places around Phoenix. I have traveled a great deal around the world. This was however my first visit to Phoenix. My wife Bonnie and I were very pleased and had a wonderful dinning experience at Salt Cellar Rstaurant in Scottsdale Az. We reccommend this unique experience.
