Not Secure! Well they certainly can't use the word "secure" in their advertising! Last March when I left my Motorhome in their care I was told about the past occasions of stolen Catalytic Converters and was told it had been "managed". I subsequently wrote a letter/email to the corporate office alerting them to my concern about poor fencing on the NW corner and no motion detectors on the property. I heard nothing back. WARNING: DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY: THEFT of catalytic converter from motorhome stored at iStorage facility at 15305 Little Morongo Rd, Desert Hot Springs. Not sure when it happened, but likely within the last 2 weeks. My sis and her partner were checking on their motor home in preparation for a 2 week trip. I bought an average sized storage unit for my tenant to help him move out. The pricing was a bit high at $240/month, but not a big problem. We put a lock on the door. 2 weeks later, I find out that the unit has been broken into (per my tenant) and that the lock was gone entirely. The management company stated that since there is no evidence of a broken lock, they can't file an insurance claim and can't help. And refused to show camera footage. I stored my motorhome here and after only 3 months of storage, my catalytic converter was stolen. The facility knows they have a serious issue with this and have done nothing to improve security. The gate is easily scalable. I even spoke to the district manager and asked what was being planned for increased security in light of the continual theft issue and he said nothing is planned. I do not recommend storing your RV here if it has a catalytic converter as you won't have it for long. $3000 to replace and none are available... read more

The first month free "special' was not so special as they "raised the rent" on my "second month". like they somehow didn't know they were going to raise the rent on my first months actual payment. I am moving to a comparable place 20 miles away for less than half what it was before they raised it. Look around before you store here, their prices are significantly higher.

There is serious problems once again at this business. Over the last 2 months there has been thefts in the RV lot. Thieves are stealing the catalytic converters from the gas powered coaches. This is an epidemic that is area wide sad to report. The Manager is doing her best to try and safeguard the area but is getting nowhere with company brass. All they care about is rental income. The sheriffs department could give a rats ass with this situation. People need to wake up..go check their rigs and maybe move them to a safer are... read more
