First of all, it is not possible to reach this place on the phone to ask a question. All calls go to a call center where the people are not able to answer a question. They can only make appointments. I went to their facility on Flamingo in *********. I had an invasive procedure done. There is no doctor on the premises. I am a younger male without hypertension issues and had a heart test for other reasons. The front ladies asked for me to pay $619 for my visit but without any explanation of costs nor breakdown nor what insurance would cover, even after they had my insurance info for days. During my preparation for a breast biopsy, the doctor's assistant, ****, asked me to sign a treatment document that included a breast clip marker alongside the biopsy. Politely, I declined the inclusion of the breast marker and expressed my eagerness to proceed with the biopsy alone. This place has illegally used my name and information along with a separate tax id# for illicit purposes. First, I called Simon Med to see if they allow walk-ins and was told yes! So my wife and I thought we would walk in and get a x-ray. WRONG ! They don't allow walk-ins! I was told I need a order from my Doctor. I called my doctor and gave them the fax number. After 2 hours I was told they haven't been faxed a order. I thought maybe my Doctor was busy, And we left and decided to call in later. I wish I could give zero stars. My significant other sustained an injury that required a STAT MRI. I was hung up on over the phone multiple times, 3 appointments canceled with no notice, wrong info submitted to insurance for authorization and then having to self ******** to get the treatment he needed. So many people made mistakes during this process and if it werent for pushing back he never would have received the treatment. Went for an MRI at Simonmed on *********** ********. To start with its Not the most pleasant experience. After the traumatic disorienting 45 minute experience was told by the tech named ****** that I could retrieve my clothing at the change room. No offer to undo the backward facing gown I was wearing or to take me to the change room. I went to the Park Blvd. location yesterday. Dont expect to get anything done in a hurry. They will check you in, supposedly, and then forget about you for an hour and a half, all while you wait for a five minute CT scan. Not only that, they said my co-pay for said CT scan was a very unreasonable $125.

There is no rating lower than ONE STAR so SimonMed gets a bonus for this review. SimonMed recently acquired Gateway Imaging in *************, where I have been a patient/customer for years. I arrived a bit early for my Noon appointment for a MRI and was left sitting in the waiting room until a few minutes after 1:00. Led to a changing room, I was instructed to change to a gown and then left there for around 20 minutes.
