This business is HORRIBLE! I would suggest that you run far away from doing any business with them. We were told amounts to pay for services on 12/12/2022 and again on 1/16/2023 in which both times we OVERPAID on the amount. I have called on 3/28, 4/27, 6/1, 6/9, 7/3, 10/20, 10/27, and today 11/13 and we still do not have the refund of $552.12 back. Supposedly they "mailed a check on 10/3" but now a month and a half later we still haven't received it. Every time we call there is a lie being told to us. I have warned that if ... read more

SimonMed Imaging in ********* is so horrible and inconsiderate. They seem to be all about money and not the health of their patients. I had a mammogram which I did with them and was told that they saw something, and I needed further testing. After waiting 2 months for another appointment to do an ultrasound I was told after waiting for 45 minutes that I have a deductible of almost $300 and it must be made upfront, or they will not do my exam. They are wonderful except they call to set appointments. I received over 35 calls in two weeks and the appointment had already *** set at a different location!

TLDR: I made an appointment for a screening mammogram and they miscoded it and now are charging me over $400 copay for something that should have been a $0 copay.When I got my appointment reminder call I was told that my copay would be $400+ I called them to let them know it was supposed to be for a screening which would be zero copay and ask them to cancel the appointment if they couldn't fix it. I was seen at SimonMed Imaging in ** for a procedure on 1/16/2023. Upon arrival at the facility, I was informed that I was required to pay in full before beginning the procedure. I was charged $1,896.44 which I paid with a credit card. When I received the Explanation of Benefits from my insurance company for this procedure/date; SimonMed charged the insurance company only $934.00. Absolutely the worst administrative system in existence! Impossible to speak to someone to try to resolve an issue. If I had a choice I would NEVER use this company for anything...it's a joke! They want approval from the ************************ to do an MRI...I made the 140 mile drive once for nothing....the VA has tried to fax the approval to the office where I am scheduled....but who knows where it went. SimonMed imaging customer service is horrible. They have canceled my appointment 2x already at 2 different locations. Stating the same thing that the machine is down. When trying to reschedule again it takes 4 calls to get an appointment rescheduled and then they want to schedule months away. I dont understand if you cancel on me why do I have to wait weeks for an appointment. That now I been waiting forfor over a month and a half. I pray I dont have cancer since it is a diagnostic visit. Consistent with other complaints, they are just plain STEALING MONEY.Here is my situation: I needed an MRI, and my insurance deductible was met when I walked in, so should be 100% covered by my insurance. They mentioned some confusing insurance jargon and told me I need to pay $238 for a scan. I needed the scan so I was stuck and paid it. I cleared this up with my insurance company a day later and Simon Med told me I would need to wait 30 days for insurance to come in for a reimbursement. Annoying, but fine.
