What business tells a potential customer they will be at their house for a free estimate and then never shows up? My wife and I made some adjustments in our day to ensure we would be at our house during the time this company said they would be here and they never showed up. Not only is this disrespectful to the time of my wife and I, it's just bad business. Perhaps the most important thing you can do in running a business is to do what you say you're going to do. Unfortunately we did call twice, and there was no answer. The second time we left a voicemail, we were stuck in traffic and arrived at your house 30 mins later later because of that. Really sorry for your bad experience, but it was an hour drive for us & 30 mins drive to return.
I told Soft Touch Cleaning to schedule appointment on the phone. Did not speak good English. Very, very hard to understand. Did not call back as he said he was not able to help.
They contacted me to let me know that they were extremely busy and they would get back to me. I contacted them via email about three weeks later. They stated they could get me in within a week or two weeks from that day. I contacted them a few times and was only able to speak with a voicemail. I have chosen to seek a refund from Angie’s List.
Wife bought the service to get our house clean before our daughters 1st birthday. Took several calls to try and even get the company to communicate with us. When we got a hold of the company they were scheduling about a month out which was to0 far out for us.
I called the main number and a man answered by saying "hello" - he didn't identify SoftTouch. I asked if this was SoftTouch, and he said yes. I then told him I was calling to check on availablity and to get a quote for a move-in cleaning. I gave him the details (sq. feet, condition of apartment, what I wanted done, etc) and he said he had a special for $179 (I had not told him I was an Angie's List member).
