We found the program challenging in the first week, but our nutritionist, Blanca, provided the support and knowledge that we needed to continue. Once we got the "pattern" of eating and exercise done, we thrived and lost all the weight that we had hoped to lose. The greatest asset for us was Blanca. She made us feel strong throughout the program as though we could accomplish all our goals, which we did. Blanca became a friend and advocate, helping us at each stage of our SOTA journey.
Very good program and it works. I had the best coach and nutritionist helping me. Zoe is terrific. Very very encouraging and provided a lot of tips and recipes and exercises all the time. Very available. Always prompt.
I have struggled with being overweight since my early 20's. I am now 54 and was placed on acid-reflux medication, blood pressure medication, statin drugs, and has chronic pain in many joints. I am on my 24th week with SOTA and I have let go of 60#. I know it’s true, but it’s such a crazy thing to write down. I’ve dieted before in my life, I’m a former gym rat/cardio class queen who worked out 2-5 hours, 7 days a week. The weekly meetings were so helpful and gave me accountability which really helped sticking to the plan with exactness. I didn't feel hungry and the variety of food was really good. The recipes on the website were very good and I will continue to make them. I feel like I really know how to eat and stay healthy and maintain my weight. I lost 40 pounds and went from a size 12 to a size 4!!
