I exceeded my weight loss goal on the program. It’s very restrictive and requires a lot of discipline but it’s definitely doable. The coaching was solid but at times, they came across sales-y, like well-trained customer service employees. Some of the food is awful but I found foods that I like and stuck with those.. I needed a change and that’s what this program provided me. I would recommend to anyone who is disciplined and has tried and failed a lot of different programs. You will be so happy with the results.
The first week is not easy: you have to create a whole new way of thinking, eating, and interacting with others! Then time flys by, and in my case, although I’m 68, in 6 weeks 25 pounds were shed! It worked! Now 3 months later, the weight is still off, I’m eating great food and know “getting fatter and fatter, bigger and bigger is not in my future.”!
I am so grateful to the staff at SOTA. They have guided me and encouraged me since I first walked through their doors. I’ve lost over 60 pounds and am confident that once I reach my goal of 100 lbs I will be able to keep it off with the maintenance program.
So far, I have only done the initial interviews. I will be starting the program mis week.
