We left SW Pediatrics two years ago to try another doctor. We had private insurance at that time. We are now on Medicaid, due to unfortunate circumstances beyond our control. We tried to make an appointment with Dr. Wagner today and were told we could not return because we left two years ago! Apparently, this is their policy. I would like to add that we left on good terms. Dr. Wagner is still accepting Medicaid patients; that is not the issue. Love Dr. Patil, but I can't put up with the office staff. We are looking elsewhere. Edit: A nice person from the office staff called me after my last appointment, to apologize and explain the miscommunication among the office staff that caused me so much anxiety and inconvenience.

At first everything was great. When it was only normal check up appointments. Then when my kiddo started to get sick and I had questions it all changed. I brought my kid in to see Dr. Fyda and know that something was obviously wrong. I had tons of questions and was made to feel like I was just a crazy first mom. I was told some bs answer and sent on my way. And what do you know.... My kid was actually sick and we had to go to the ER later bc they were then closed. Good docs but terrible staff. If you want to schedule a well check for your child, you have to just wait, even if this means 6 months later after your child has turned the age of the well check.
