Southwest Pediatrics was formed in 2001 by Drs. Jolet, Patil and Rimer. Dr. Wagner joined us in 2011, Dr. Chapa joined us in 2015, and Dr. White in 2018. I love my doctor! Dr Wagner is great with my kids and have been going to him for 4 years. Usually not a long waiting time for my appointments.
Fantastic doctors and office! Dr. Jolet has more than earned my respect and appreciation, and her staff is always patient, kind, and efficient in taking care of whatever needs we may have. I cannot recommend this office enough!
My family had a horrendous experience with Southwest Pediatric Associates. Our newborn screening came back abnormal and Dr. Chapa waited an entire month (30 days) to contact us with the results even though we had been in to see him during that time. The newborn screening checks for serious genetic disorders and medical conditions, and because of the abnormal results, it was recommended that our child see a specialist for further testing. Wrong or delayed results on two separate occasions within a 90 day period. Administrators have very poor quality! It took a week to find out my daughter had strep throat. By then the household was ill. More recently, even after they were told dad had the flu, and we were taking my son with same symptoms, instead of getting tamiflu, he gets an antibiotic. Of course when I took my kid back because he was getting worse, my son had missed the window to get him on tamiflu. And he had to suffer all weekend with fevers as high as 1... read more
My son and daughter have been Dr. Patil's patient since they were born over 15 years ago. Dr. Patil has been great to work with however, her office staffs are terrible. My wife's company got merged and we were forced to change insurance company because of the merger. We were being very careful about selecting which new insurance company to go with to ensure our kids can stay with Dr. Patil/Southwest Pediatric.
