We love Dr. Patil at Southwest Pediatrics!! She is so caring, takes the time to warm up to my 2 year old son and is gentle with my 6 month old. Dr. Patil is personable, always is happy to answer questions you might have and explains everything in detail. We switched from another pediatrician in South Austin after Dr. Patil was recommend to us and couldn't be happier. We have seen Dr. Wagner on two occasions when Dr. Patil was not available and were just as pleased with his bedside manner and helpfulness.
Love SW Pediatrics! We see Dr. Wagner who has been great. He really helped us through the newborn stage (reflux, colic, breastfeeding, etc) and got my little one to turn from a sad, screaming baby to a happy babe. His communication skills are fabulous. Absolutely love them. My daughter has seen Dr. Wagner since she was three days old, and he's gone above and beyond for us. Very personable and open, and I never feel rushed. His assistant, Laticha, is incredibly sweet and friendly. I've never experienced rude staff, nor have I had an issue with billing. Highly recommend any of the doctors here.
We have been taking our now 7 month old here for regular checkups, vaccines, sick visits, and the like. From the day our son was 4 days old, we knew we were in good hands with Dr. Jolet. Pre-baby, my husband and I had no clue where to even begin looking for a pediatrician, much less 'know what questions to ask'. Luckily SWP holds a 'Meet the Pediatricians' night about once every 2 months, so we had a chance to meet the entire practice and have a chance for Q&A. We see Dr. Patil. She is warm and gentle with my son and takes plenty of time to answer our questions. Her advice has been wonderful! Great pedi, we feel blessed to have her.
Our boys have seen Dr. Fyda for over two years. We love her and also Dr. Wagner, who we have seen on occasion. I am withholding one star because we find the billing to be very aggressive -- on more than one occasion we have had office staff seemingly delay the boys from being seen until an open balance (never more than $200) is resolved.
I had recently moved to Austin and in search of a pediatrician for my 3 children. The change of enviroment had a huge effect with their allergies, which had me frantically trying to find them a doctor asap. If I can say one thing its interview your pediatrician before selecting one. I chose wrong the first time then I found Dr Wagner. He is amazing with my 6mth old. He is also super amazing dealing with me and my first time crazy mom questions. My first pediatrician had no patience for me. His staff is amazing and so welcoming and they remember my son when we go in which means a lot to me! Highly recommend him and his office!
I absolutely love Dr. Fyda. She is so thorough and wonderful with my daughter. I also have a friend with a son that has Autism and she has nothing but praise for this doctor. My husband was out of work last year and we were forced to pick up Medicaid for our child for a few months. I heard horror stories about finding a good doctor on Medicaid so I was nervous.
