Don't sign up with Stream it is nothing but a scam. They have a high cancellation fee and a high fixed rate. Representatives mislead you and don't tell you the truth. Customer service is rude and unhelpful.

This company is a scam. I, somehow, 12 years later am receiving collection calls from them and a judgement for services that were never rendered to me. This has NEVER been on my credit report, nor have I been contacted prior to this.

Will do everything they can to limit your ability to pay, shut off without notice, then take at least a week to get it back on. Absolute joke.

As a former consultant from Stream Energy/wireless, I want to warn everyone about their unorganized, unprofessional business techniques. One of my former customers has constant problems with her wireless service. She asked them to change her payment day to the first because her social security check comes the 1st of the month, they refused to do that even though it was only one day difference. Do not use Stream. They are deceitful. Just got off the phone with a second level supervisor who admitted through their audio review that their customer rep told me she would remove an early termination fee and to pay a certain amount. I payed that amount and then a month later without any notification I received a collection letter asking for the remainder. I called after getting the letter and a supervisor said she would submit a review and someone would call me in 24-48 hours. As of today no one called. I called today and... read more

I started using Stream Energy in February at the recommendation of a realtor. I immediately tried to login to my account to setup autopay. When I logged into my account, there was no record of any activity. About a month later I get a bill in the mail for another account number. I call in and sure enough, someone is Stream choose to create a second account number. I attempted to have it merged into my online account but was told there was a glitch in their system. We entered into the Secure Choice Plan - 12 Month Plan with Stream Energy. But when the expiration date came and went; we were surprised by another bill being sent to us. Our contract was supposed to end on May 10, 2017. We contacted the Stream Energy customer service to resolve the issue. They were of absolutely no help. I've had Stream Energy service for six years without incident until recently when an error in auto pay caused them to bill me twice and they failed to refund or credit the overpayment. All attempts to contact customer service via their email, phone number and website messaging have failed. I think maybe this company has gone rogue, and would urge others to avoid them. I intend to disable autopay and will not renew service when my contract expires.

I have used Stream Energy now for 6 years in the northeast, ************ **** market. Never once have I had a problem. Stream appears right on the bill with my locked in rate. They notify me when my contract is up and I have a friend who is a rep who calls and walks me thru renewing my contract at the appropriate time. We have saved a lot of money using Stream as our 3rd party supplier and I like working with someone I know will be helping me each year.
