THIS COMPANY ****** Came home today to my gas being turned off I got no notice. They have my email (paperless billing) my phone number as well as my address and I got nothing. I do not get paid till Friday and they refuse to turn it on. I have had service with them since 10-01-2016 and have never allowed my service to get turned off I am very upset.
Poor service, poor customer service and unreasonable charges. Would never recommend this guys to anyone.
i been with stream energy for over 10 years, when first started with them was very good and smooth, guess they were new company at that time. but now their customer service agents getting so sloppy dishonest. when you give promise to customer and must act on what you say. not just express pleasant words, meaningless. There associates and customer service agents are liars. They will offer you the world and will lie when you call and ask for it. So my situation, I was speaking with an associate of theirs that explain to me all of the good benefits in having their service and certain sign up bonuses. The offer that he bait and switched me on, was that you will receive a $200 visa gift card when you sign up. So I'm like okay that sounds cool and mind you, I could really use that gift card. I have had them for 4 months now. I have never got a bill and they keep cutting me off. I call to correct my information and they still get it wrong. When its time to connect they have dates weeks and weeks away. I have 2 kids and to keep getting turned off with out notice is crazy. I am going with another company maybe they will send me a bill.
Bad service. Liars I had a pre-paid service with them (Stream) , before I finished my billing month, I changed of company and they sent me to collection. Call to claim and I need to pay a month that I do not use. Why??? Just because they are them. I used the prepaid service for more than 10 years, and this had never happened to me.
I have been very happy with Stream and have been able to save my friends and family also. I have never had any issues with them and just enrolled for another year. I got phones, email, and a letter to renew. Most people that complain are the same folks who forget to pay their bills. If you pay on time you don't have to worry. Thanks Stream. HORRIBLE! I would give this company 0 stars if i could. They violated the contract, they even admitted they never sent notices prior to contract end date with options (as the contract states, they send 2 notices. 1-60 days prior, 1-30 days prior). They doubled my KWh price in jan and feb without notice. Slammed me with an $800 bill in february. My husband is a disabled veteran and we have 2 small children, living on a fixed income. They told us there was nothing they were going to do, and to "sue them" if we wanted.
Disappointed with Streams ability to fix a mistakes made on bills. I have four commercial accounts with them. When one has a commercial account one gets a bill ready tax from the supplier. Stream is charging me two bill ready taxes on each one of my accounts. I have been with other suppliers and was only charged one bill ready tax in the past.
