Bah....I had a check engine light and the air bag light that came on, one after another. I took my car to run diagnostics at another auto repair shop and they quoted me thousands of dollars to repair the issues that would maybe help turn off the lights but they didn't guarantee that they would. They said they needed to remove the steering wheel, to "see what was going on" and after it could be more money to resolve. Through Yelp, I got to meet a wonderful person called Terry! He was able to replace my two headlights in less than 30mins at a very reasonable price. He was responsive even on the weekend... in fact because I received great service, I even told Terry that I will be a loyal customer going forward despite 30mins drive from where I live. WOW! GREAT SERVICE! Others have mentioned how honest they ate, but I want to talk about how friendly they are, and how important that can be. My elderly in-laws' car wouldn't start, even after a replacement battery from AAA just 9 months ago. Bob's Auto Is Terrible. I've brought my work vehicle to them for years. This was until, I purchased a major repair. Wait, it gets better! I pick it up to find there's more damage! Now my transmission is wrecked. They got the wrong parts. They didn't even test drive before they said here pay it's done! I highly do not recommend Bob's Auto Repair.
Boris did an excellent job repairing our car that was struck in an accident. We are very happy with his repair work on the body, and the car looks like new. Boris also did a great job managing f the whole insurance process, which was complex and difficult. He made our job easy.
My wife and I have gone here for over 15 years. Bob and Steve have saved us tons of money and made it cost effective for us to keep our 20 year old car and 27 year old Truck (400K Mile on original engine and Tranny). Has gone above and beyond such as welding exhaust holes in our old muffler preventing replacement for another 3 years or disassembling and gluing a heater control lever pivot 7 years ago to prevent us from having to buy a whole new expensive control unit. How do I begin... Save yourself THOUSANDS of dollars... and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! I hate to destroy these guys, but they were literally going to charge $4800+ to replace a transmission that didn't need replacing!! I broke down on vacation and ended up at Bob's. My situation turned out to be fast and easy, so they didn't even charge me. That's the kind of business that I like to support.
One of my parents' older vehicle's transmission had got kaput. Based on the recommendation of another (completely unrelated) vendor that I was working with at the time, plus the fact that Bob's was down the street from my home, I thought I would bring the car in here for an estimate.
