Comprehensive inspection of my sons car that wouldn't pass smog. They were unable to make the needed repairs and gave my son good feedback.
This is on a Honda CRV older model. Shocks were replaced and all went well. The time frame provided for the repair was acceptable but the main thing is the customer oriented service provided by the staff and the quality of work. I have had many repairs done and they back up their work and pricing is equitable. I recommend this garage for your auto repairs. Also, if they can't do it, they will refer you to someone who can and not waste your time, effort and finances.
I've worked with the mechanic, Steve, for a long time. He's accurate with his diagnoses, and his work is always top rate. All his work has stood the test of time. I highly recommend Stress-Free.
Greg was very friendly. I was skeptical at first with the company, saw quite a few these in different areas of California. I thought I'd give it a shot. I needed to get my brake pads and rotor fixed on my front end of my BMW X1, price was reasonable and service was quick. We traveled to 49 RV Park in the gold country (Calif) and the day before we were to leave the "Check Engine" light came on. It was a solid light, not flashing, and a Google search said it was not an emergency. It stayed on all the way home (120 miles) with no problems. Steve at Bob's Auto ran a diagnosis that identified the problem as an air-flow sensor. The air filter was clean, so the sensor was replaced, and the CE light went out. A week later it came on again. Had the people here give my car a full check. Greg was very nice and accommodating, gave me all the options of what I should do with my car, after the full inspection, and showed me around my own car and gave images of anything and everything that was of concern that would need immediate work and things to look out for. Greg was very honest and accurate about the pricing and costs for their work. Will very much like to come here again for my future car maintenance.
Bah....I had a check engine light and the air bag light that came on, one after another. I took my car to run diagnostics at another auto repair shop and they quoted me thousands of dollars to repair the issues that would maybe help turn off the lights but they didn't guarantee that they would. Through Yelp, I got to meet a wonderful person called Terry! He was able to replace my two headlights in less than 30mins at a very reasonable price. He was responsive even on the weekend... in fact because I received great service, I even told Terry that I will be a loyal customer going forward despite 30mins drive from where I live. WOW! GREAT SERVICE! Others have mentioned how honest they ate, but I want to talk about how friendly they are, and how important that can be. My elderly in-laws' car wouldn't start, even after a replacement battery from AAA just 9 months ago.
