My boyfriend's car started overheating on the way to SF-- we stopped in this city and called so many mechanics.. everyone was booked and/or wouldnt accept a walk in. Thankfully, they told us we could come in immediately here! Absolute life savers. They diagnosed our car then and there, and fixed it same day (problem with the temperature gauge). I pulled in, there was barely any wait, they fixed my punctured tire, and I rolled out. All in about 15-20 minutes. Painless!

Went to get 4 new tires for my ford explorer. Was given a competitive price quote and treated with respect and appreciation for my business. Got the tires purchased, delivered to the shop and installed all on the same day. Faster than other shops or online options were offering. Honest shop providing great value to the community of Redwood City. Will come back for sure

At the last minute, i found out that I needed to travel the next day for work and my car was due for an oil change and tire rotation. I called a few places and couldn't get in on short notice. I called Ali at 3:30 and asked if he could do an oil change and tire rotation before close. He did what he had to do and got me in. Really appreciated the effort to get me in and will definitely go back. Also, found out that they do a variety of work and will check them out when the need arises.

I needed tires replaced unexpectedly, and Ray's was able to take me right away. Ali patiently explained the options and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. Although they didn't have the tires in stock, they were able to get them from their other location and had the car ready to go within a few hours. I felt they were service oriented, listened to my concerns and above all, honest.

Ray's is a great local auto shop! My first visit here could not have been easier - they are really organized and have good hours. Ali was polite, prompt, thorough in explaining things, and all-around nice to work with. I've found my new go-to auto shop, and highly recommend Ray's.

I wanted to rotate tires, change oil and support a local shop. Similar to other posters, my car Mazda3 required a "special filter" that was extra $9 plus tax. (LOL. Is there a car that doesn't at this shop? Has never happened at other places ...) Then an $8 bulb that needed replacement suddenly became a "hard to get " $22 plus tax part due to a supply chain disruption (but available at O'Reilly next door where Ali got it a few minutes before). Went to get my tires rotated before a road trip and the guys discovered my tires were really bad, down to the wire, they were able to get me new tires and back on the road in the same day! They were great I highly recommend them.
