I'm not sure how to feel about this place right now. Our vet seems great but the front desk has been horribly rude. Bad attitudes have no business being at the front of your business. I recently called Suburban Animal Hospital about my dog who had an open sore that wasn't healing. They wouldn't talk to me about it on the phone, and by the time I was able to get in for an appointment the sore had healed. I called to cancel and they said there was a $50 cancelation fee (an appointment is $76). I asked if there was any way it could be waived, since there's no point bringining in a dog that's not sick anymore. One unpleasant experience and one atrocious one!! There are plenty of more respectful and customer friendly veterinary offices in the area. At one point, I asked to speak to the vet who had seen my dog earlier that day and was told by the receptionist that, "I can leave a message for her to call you, but I can assure you that she won't." SHOW ME THE MONEY!!! EMERGENCY CARE OVERPRICED BY GROUCHY DOCTORS You had better bring plenty of money (and some kleenex) with you if your pet has an emergency on a Sunday!!
