Dr. Muller is the best cat vet we could have possibly asked for--we found her through the Cat Friendly Practices program and are so relieved to have established care with her. She was kind, patient, helpful, and communicative, and clearly very knowledgeable about feline health (she mentioned being a cat owner herself, and it shows!). As a young couple on a fairly tight budget, we also really appreciated her transparency about the cost of diagnostics and treatment; she offered us plenty of options and made sure we had all the... read more

Thank you for your kind words, Samantha! We really appreciate your feedback and are so happy you had a pleasant experience with us. We look forward to seeing you and your fur baby soon!
I couldn't be happier with Symphony. They've taken care of my cats from life to death. I had to put down my baby girl today They are truly caring people
My dog loves the vets here so much that it's impossible to walk him passed the office. He just sits down and gets really adamant about needing to go see his doc.
I feel a little bad not being more positive here. My dog and I have been going to Symphony on and off for years, and the medical staff is good with both people and animals and the visit fees are generally less than many. And please note: after my most recent experience, of last week, I called them and talked with someone about my concerns, which were heard. My gripe: dental work my dog had done last week. We were there for extractions from a 12 year old dog that suffers from periodontal disease (and somewhat neglectful ... read more

Thank you for taking the time to provide us feedback on your experience. We apologize that there was confusion regarding your pets dental procedure. We do clean your pets teeth prior to any oral surgery to remove bacteria from the mouth first. Depending on the teeth, there is a large variance in the time and difficulty of the procedure, however, I agree we should have done a better job of conveying this to you. We are currently reviewing our treatment plans to make sure they accurately reflect all that is involved. We strive... read more
I volunteer for a 501(c)3 rescue group. During COVID, ASPCA shut down spay/neuter services which made an already difficult job of spay/neutering cats in Manhattan impossible. I emailed about 20 veterinary practices asking for support for a few low-cost spay/neuter spots to help us move adoptable cats and kittens into forever homes. Symphony were the only vet practice that offered to help. I'm deeply grateful for their kindness and their professionalism. I recommend them highly.

Hi Julie, thank you for taking the time to write your generous review. We take pride in our goal to help all pets within our community.
When we moved to the area, we were super sad to be leaving behind a great vet practice in Brooklyn. When our frenchie needed his vaccines and had a possible ear infection, we looked for vets closeby and found Symphony. We were hesitant because of the recent (and negative) reviews, but needed something quick and close. We first saw Dr. Johar and we were pleasantly surprised. She was very thorough, kind, and our Ernie loved her. When we heard that she had left Symphony, we considered looking elsewhere. Miraculously, we found t... read more
Symphony Vet is such a Great Practice and Dr. Schoenhut is amazing !! passionate, knowledgeable and most importantly PATIENT!! always answers my questions. I can't thank her enough for all she's done for my cats and my Dog!
It's a real stroke of luck that Symphony Vet treats exotic pets (in our case, guinea pigs) since they're just two blocks away from our apartment. It's surprisingly hard to find vets who will treat guinea pigs in NYC, so having Symphony so close is a real boon to us. We've brought both pigs in and find Dr. Levison to be a very easygoing and helpful doctor. One of our pigs actually became low-key famous in the office for having hay stuck up her nose -- this is less common in guinea pigs than you'd think. Initially she was misd... read more
I like all the vets we've seen at this practice. The administrative team is professional and kind and the office and practice rooms are nice and bright and clean. I'm happy that they're in our neighborhood.
