I love Symphony Vet. Everyone there is helpful. My vet is amazing. I primarily see Dr. Levinson. It feels like she loves my dog as much as I do. She is a perfectionist, with great attention to detail. She did a surgery on my dog, stitched him from inside so they didn't need removed, and sent him home with ample pain medication. She called to check on him, and took my calls when I had questions. We were worried about cancer in his spleen. It wasn't cancer! My dog Mandy was a patient here for most of her life, until she died April 2012. We always saw Dr. Campbell and she was always kind to both of us and took time to answer all my questions, and I considered Mandy my child. Over the years I sent many friends to her with their pets and they were always pleased with the care. Dr. Campbell understood how important my Beagle girl was to me. She's been gone a year now & I'm still grieving. If I do get another dog I will certainly go back to Dr. Campbell.

I've owned animals of one species or another for nearly all of my life and have visited A LOT of veterinary clinics/hospitals/etc in various parts of the country. Symphony is, hands down, one of the best. I've been taking my pets there for over 7 years (beginning back when it was located on Amsterdam Av.) and I wouldn't consider taking them anywhere else. Great vets! I brought my male cat here when he was suffering from a UTI -- Dr. Campbell and her team were fantastic! My cat came home healthy and happy two days later. Unlike City Vet and Blue Pearl (where my cat had previously been treated), Symphony Vet was able to treat my cat without aggressive measures, heavy painkillers, or constant sedatives. He made a quick, full recovery over the next week. I will definitely be returning.

Our dog has been a patient at Symphony for about five years. After receiving insufficient help at a different vet for a digestive issue during the first year we had our dog, we decided to switch and give Symphony a try. It was the best decision we could have made and our only regret is that we didn't start with Symphony in there first place. Dr. Campbell is AMAZING!!!! Our two dogs have been coming here for 4 years and have always received excellent care. Even better, we board our dogs here whenever we have to go out of town and they always come home relaxed and tired- and they are not easygoing dogs! The peace of mind alone is worth the high prices the services often cost. The Vets are super knowledgeable (especially Dr. Brook- love her!) and we always feel like they are getting great care. Really the thing I will miss most about living on the Upper West Side as a new Brooklynite.

Lovely people. Went there as my bunny was limping due to a fractured nail. Deborah was very kind throughout the whole process. Obviously, bunnies are never in their element when it comes to vet centers (me neither), but it couldn't have gone any better. And cherry on the cake: I just received an unexpected surprise with a follow-up hand-written post card from Deborah to thank me for my business. Impressively human business. A rare thing in New York.

When we moved from the Village a few years ago where we had a wonderful vet, we asked around and found Symphony Vet and the wonderful Dr Levison! She really connects with our cats in a very calm way- one cat has serious ongoing medical issues and Dr. Levison always tries to be thoughtful about not over testing-- and her explanations regarding test results are very clear and detailed. They recently moved into bigger offices which are just as clean and bright as always- I can recommend them more highly !

I'd give this place 4.5 stars if I could, but due to high pricing I'll stick with 4. All those 4 stars are thanks to the support and care of the entire staff. I had taken my dog Bridget there several times over the course of a couple years and always received good care, but then the sh*t really came down last year when Bridget got very ill very quickly and the only solution was to have her put to sleep.
