It was easy to make reservations and our service was excellent. Everything was very quick and they had our table when we got there (a couple minutes early). The adult milkshakes and regular milkshakes were excellent. all of the food was very good. The only drawback was there were so many good choices for dinner (as all three menus were available) that it was hard to choose. Even though it is a trek for us to get there and the parking can be difficult we will definitely go back and recommend it.
This place was amazing! I had a steak that was out of this world!!! I loved their brussel sprouts! The Alabama Chicken was ordered by some other people at the table. The sauce on top of the chicken was a little spicy for our liking. Their homemade Twinkie and blondie were really good. We purchased some pop tarts, but we have not eaten them yet.
I dined with a friend for lunch. I ordered the Sloppiest Joe and ate it with a fork and knife because I foolishly choose to wear a white dress! The sandwich was yummy and so were the fries - quite nice. I also got a boozy shake - and I combined two flavors: key lime pie and toasted coconut. Delish! Our waitress was adorable and friendly. I'll definitely be going back - so glad this place is in my neighborhood.
Our party loved the French Kiss from the wine list. Great choice for a warm summer day. Wait staff was exceptionally attentive. Was ver accommodating to our needs. Great energy in the restaurant. This is a DC don't miss!.
My lunch guest spotted an ice cream sundae as it was being delivered to a nearby table. He decided that he would have one too. I splurged with a few spoonsful of his order, and it was delicious. Very nicely done.
It was our first time at Ted's for dinner and when we mentioned it to a few people, most commented that it was probably better for brunch. We went anyway and the dinner was notably great. We had ribs and burgers, which were both fantastic. In fact the ribs were probably some of the best ribs I have ever eaten. We were entertaining a friend from London, so this was a good choice in terms of an upscale American diner experience with delicious pop tarts to go with it. I will definitely go back and the next time for brunch. As a... read more
We stayed near Ted's and ate there for dinner and breakfast. Also ran over for coffee ( delicious!) every morning and nightly shakes. The " big as your head" cinnamon roll on the weekends is super yummy. Great experience!
I went to Ted's twice - First for boozy milkshakes with my grandma (thumbs up to the Key Lime Pie) at the cute and old-fashioned bar in the front of the restaurant. Second for a full dinner on Tuesday, which happened to be burger and milkshake night, so I tired the smore, also delicious. The BBQ and Southwest burgers were good, the fries were fantastic. We tried the poptarts too, but weren't too impressed. The waitress offered to warm them up for us and they may have been better warm. The staff was very friendly and the bart... read more
Homemade poptarts, chili, meatloaf (roasted brussel sprouts to die for!), Ted Burger, Mocha and Bananas Foster (adult) milkshakes...we left with full tummies and will return to try the other menu items for sure!
