Managed to pick a night when the place was relatively quiet - we got a reservation for when we wanted and we found it easy to enjoy the restaurant's art deco-themed ambiance and fun vibe. If you want a 'proper' dinner the entree list is not extensive but is eclectic (there's overall more variety if you want a burger or sandwich). Prices were not outrageous but imo a little high for a casual american menu. Service was okay - our waiter was attentive initially but sort of disappeared towards the end of the meal. Overall I was happy with the quality of the food and the service. I had the sausage gravy and biscuits which I found to be a bit dense, but the flavored were great. I was thoroughly impressed by the homemade pop tarts. I tried the strawberry and would highly recommend trying these.

The homemade poptarts were to die for! And scrambled egg whites are phenomenal.

Loved the 1920s-30s atmosphere and the cocktails were top-notch, but were expensive. The steak was very good, but the pop-tarts were terrible!

Wonderful dinner for our family! The food was delicious and the service was very good too. We LOVE the old movies playing and Casablanca was playing! Everything is homemade and you can tell that a lot of planning goes into the menu. We call it an "upscale" diner, but it's really more than that. It's a homey, feel-good place with great food and ambiance.

Love this place and would go more often if the wait wasn't so long. BUT, it's not to say it's not worth the wait! Delicious comfort food and always consistent. Perfect amount of tasty options in all categories - breakfast, salad, sammy, entree. The shakes, adult or not, are absolutely amazing.

The food was all very good. The service was so slow that it was quite poor. She forgot items. Service was bad.
