Couldn't think of what I wanted for dinner Sunday and did not go to brunch earlier in the day, so of course I had a huge breakfast platter at 8PM! The waitress recommended an fantastic cocktail to go with my french toast and eggs (first time she ever got that question!). Although the drinks came after the food -- very fast kitchen there -- and my bacon got delayed, the food, drink, and ambiance more than made up for it.
Reserved a 9-person table in advance. Service seemed to be a little slow for us. We noticed that (1) one person in our party had to request enough menus for everyone, and (2) smaller tables near us put in food orders after us but received their food before we did. It was a little difficult keeping my 5 year old patient while folks around her were eating. But once we got our food, it was great. My daughter loved her grilled cheese sandwich. I have never had a bad meal here. Homemade poptarts are amazing , I always get extra to go! Adult milkshakes are delicious too!
Food was good. I invited my friends which is their first time @ Ted's. They really enjoyed it especially milkshakes.
Our waiter was very attentive and personable. Great to be able to choose breakfast, lunch, or dinner regardless of time of day. The food was great and there was a lot of it. Come to Ted's hungry because you will leave stuffed!
Great food, excellent service as usual. Though the high noise level so popular with restaurateurs made it hard to hold a conversation.
Seated right away. Coffee was good.breakfats is always amazing. Service is fast and friendly. Never a disappointment.
We really enjoyed our dinner at Ted's. And the milkshakes were amazing!
The food is ok, the service ok, but nothing is great. I needed a place for breakfast with a former DC resident who was in town. We mostly wanted to visit, so the food/service not being great wasn't a disaster. No bread served with breakfast without an extra charge is a rip off. Omelet had no cheese. I have had better lunch and dinner experiences but generally overrated compared to other places on the street.
