We stayed near Ted's and ate there for dinner and breakfast. Also ran over for coffee ( delicious!) every morning and nightly shakes. The " big as your head" cinnamon roll on the weekends is super yummy. Great experience!
I went to Ted's twice - First for boozy milkshakes with my grandma (thumbs up to the Key Lime Pie) at the cute and old-fashioned bar in the front of the restaurant. Second for a full dinner on Tuesday, which happened to be burger and milkshake night, so I tired the smore, also delicious. The BBQ and Southwest burgers were good, the fries were fantastic. We tried the poptarts too, but weren't too impressed. The waitress offered to warm them up for us and they may have been better warm. The staff was very friendly and the bart... read more
Homemade poptarts, chili, meatloaf (roasted brussel sprouts to die for!), Ted Burger, Mocha and Bananas Foster (adult) milkshakes...we left with full tummies and will return to try the other menu items for sure!
Five family members and myself went here for a special occasion; really the only thing I can mark it down for is that it initially took a little while to get our orders taken (it was moderately busy that day, however, so I'll let that slide a bit!). Everything else was spot on, with good service and great food. My 78 year old Grandmother said her Reuben sandwich was the best she'd ever eaten, and all other family members enjoyed their meals as well. The mud pie cheesecake and the homemade pop tarts were all very well receive... read more
This place was excellent...highly recommend the short rib sammy! One star deducted b/c the water is terrible. if you only drink water or want some to counteract the richness of the milkshakes do yourself a favor and bring your own bottled water. It literally tasted like what i would imagine a mudpuddle would tast like...gross.
It was nice to be at Ted's when it wasn't full of pre-game Nat's Park goers. A lot less crowded. great breakfast -- their sausage is some good stuff! Great service; fun place
Food was not as fantastic as I hoped for.
Ted's Bulletin is one of my favorite places to eat in D.C. They serve breakfast all day, have milkshakes with and w/o alcohol, and you can order almost any type of comfort food with a twist. Portions are generous, and the device is great. My one suggestion is always make a reservation they get busy. It is a small place an can be very loud but it's worry minute. Enjoy! Bon Apetit!
The food at Ted's Bulletin is really amazing & I am so glad that we went as we were only visiting DC & won't have another opportunity to go any time soon. However, the service was very slow. We were only one of four tables when we went (around 2:30 pm on a Thursday) & the waiter would disappear for long periods of time. The food did make the trip worth it, though.
