I went to Ted's on a Thursday night and made a reservation beforehand. When I got there the table was already ready for us. I had the Bacon Burger with PB and my friend had the chef's special of the night which was a grilled wahoo. Both dishes were perfect. Afterwards we sat at the bar and ate a few poptarts, the coconut, blueberry cheesecake, and bacon poptarts were amazing! I have been recommending to friends ever since!
Classic grilled cheese & tomato soup, meatloaf & chicken fried steak? What's not to love?!
Smaller inside than I thought. The homemade poptarts were amazing! A MUST when you go. It's like your stepped back in time when you walk into the upscale diner. The decor is almost like you're in a movie. The breakfast was amazing. The portions are a good size, not too much not too little. Reservations recommended. I went Friday morning around 8 am and it was already packed. Will definitely be making multiple trips back.
we were a varied group of eight, ranging in age from 5 to 50. there was something for everyone! great bar drinks, kids menu, milkshakes to die for (kid AND adult versions) and watching the pastry chef make the pop tarts was a fun experience for all of us!! can't wait to return and try everything else on that tasty menu.
I often go to Ted's for dinner before the NATS nights. It is close to the ballpark and gets you there a little early to beat traffic. The Burgers are delicious and moderately priced. The service has always been good and with a 5:30 P.M. reservation we're always done by 6:30 P.M. with plenty of time to get to a 7;05 game. The food is much better here than at the ballpark and proably less expensive. No waiting in line.
I first stopped in for some late night dessert but when I saw the full menu I knew I had to go back. I went back for Burger Night on Tuesday. Everything was delicious. I even got a pop tart on the way out for breakfast the next day. Every employee I have encountered has been friendly and helpful. I'm definitely going to be visiting more.
My wife and I love Ted's....initially we would eat breakfast there before Sunday Nats games. Then we discovered what a great lunch & dinner menu they have. So far I have yet to have a meal there that I thought was just ok.
I can't say how important it is when the staff of a restaurant (or any business) goes out of their way to do something kind and helpful for the customer, no matter how stupid the customer is or how much the problem was caused by them. This isn't an earth-shaking story, but I left my phone on the table when breakfast was over. It was raining, but I had an umbrella with me. I had made it two blocks away before I heard my name called out, and there was the manager running toward me with my phone. (The truth is that I had even d... read more
This is the second time I have been at Ted's. The food continues to impress me. I would highly recommend a milkshake when you are at Ted's!
