One of the top St Albans restaurants, Thai Square is housed within a beautifully restored 15th Century timber frame grade II listed building. We are one of the top Thai restaurants in this ancient English city, and were honoured as a Highly Commended in the 2017 Hertfordshire Food and Drink Awards.

Thai Square was fantastic. The food was outstanding, as was the presentation. The atmosphere was perfect for a sociable saturday night out with friends, service was slightly slow but it was not a problem. Great range of dishes to cater for all price brackets. Will certainly go again soon!
This is our 2nd visit to Thai Square, went wrong with my main this time, Pad Thai Goong (noodles with prawns) tunred out to be too sweet and I couldn' t really eat too much of it, But my husband tried the Pad thai beef and it was really good.
As ever, the St Albans Thai Square experience was wonderful! The service is always impeccable and the menu never fails to delight. As a vegetarian, I'm immensely impressed by the choice I have - the vegetarian spring rolls are fabulous (second only to those served at Cook Kai, Amsterdam). I need to visit again to try the tofu satay!
Can't believe how quiet this restaurant was, the food was excellent and was equally matched by an efficient and friendly service. Have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed.
An authentic Thai meal, really delicious! Very busy with a warm, friendly atmosphere. Will definitely go there again!
We had a great private are for the 12 of us in Thai Square - St Albans. The service was very good and the food lovely. Would recommend!
Food was lovely, and setting great but spoilt for us due to some really loud and obnoxious customers- which I guess could happen anywhere but then it taints everything a little!! Would try again though!!

Thia Square - St Albans The same as my last experiece. The food and service were excellent. It was quiet on a Monday night, but it was still lovely. Would recommend it to anyone.
