Dined at Thai Square on my Bros bday.. Food was good, not the best Thai I've had, but it was good... Good cocktalis...Service here is good too.... One thing to note is, I made a request to have candles in a cake(pudding) on my reservation as it was my ros bday, however they seemed to have forgotten about it completely, but after i reminded them, they did a good job of bringing it and singing happy bday. So make sure tehy hvnt forgotten it if u've requested anything special. Good exp overall
If Carlsberg made Thai Restaurants, they'd probably be like this! Excellent food, reasonable price and very good service. The best Thai food we've had in ages...
We visited Thai Square in St Albans on Tuesday night. The restaurant was quiet but service was good. Food as always was of a very high standard. Would recommend, particularly suitable for groups. The bar is also nice and serves good cocktails.
We had a delicious birthday meal here. It was mid-week so there were not many other diners which made the service a bit too efficient but they were not pushy and were very polite. The food was excellent.
This was a wonderful meal - quite simply, Thai hospitality and cuisine, presented locally but presented well. We will most certainly return again and again!

Thai Square St Albans. Excellent cocktails and friendly staff
I was pleased to see that there was a Thai Square in St Albans as I very much like the others that I have been to! It is based in the oldest tudor house in the town, is spacious & well decorated. We were lucky to catch a before 7.30 early bird offer for two courses for £10, which was very good value, with at least 7 each of starters & main courses to choose from, the main course including rice! As we were early, it was rather quiet, service was attentive, just right; I thoroughly recommend it!
On arrival we was quickly shown to our table and the service was excellent throughout the meal. The food was very good although the fish dishes were smaller then expected. We had the black cod (Superb) and the Sea Bass. We finished our meal with cocktails in the bar, which we can highly recommend.
