Thai Square - St Albans Food is ok. Nothing to get delirious about! Expensive for the price. I dont mind paying for a pricey meal if it is really worth it. good ambiance though and service is good.
Excellent - thoroughly enjoyed, the food was tasty and great choice, venue was comfortable and the service was very discrete. Will return
Amazing resturant. Great food, something for everyone. The best thai food I have had in a while. Good favourite for thai. Best dishes are the steam bass and the chicken in oyster sauce, try beef if you want also good. Weeping tiger dish was a bit dry but still nice. Good spring roll and beautiful soups, recommend Tom Yam Gong. Only down fall is that it is quite pricey and that the toilets are very cold. Drinks rather expensive to. However the presentation of the resturant is stunning.
Thai Square in St Albans is a lovely restaurant with a great ambience. The service was top notch and the menu extensive however the portions were quite small given the price.
Had a great time at Thai Square St Albans. The meal was well presented, quickly delivered and everyone was happy with their choices. We loved the cocktail bar selection, and was pleased with a party bill that ended up at £25 each inc. wine and entres (no desserts). We dropped a cake of earlier for my husbands birthday and the staff where for accommodating for the occasion. only down side, unfortunately we had to ask for the table to be cleared after the main meal.
Disappointing experience, mainly based on the timings and service. It took an hour and 20 minutes for us to receive a mixed starter (the table next to us came in 10 minutes later than us and received their food before us!) and a soup, by which time we had lost our appetite and cancelled the main course. Food is good - I just think the St Albans restaurant has too many covers for the kitchen. Plus they do not warm their plates, so this type of food loses its heat in seconds on cold plates.
Thai Square served good food which was tasty and well presented. Nice to see the restaurant full, service was still good.
I've been to Thai Square a few times now and am always slightly disappointed by the food when you consider the price. The food is good, and the restaurant itself is great, but for great (& cheap) Thai food, I prefer Pin Petch.
Beautifully renovated building in a great position in the middle of town. Good food and service, possibly a bit overpriced.
