Absolutely horrible place to bring pets. Would never recommend this place for anyone who has loved pets. If I could give negative stars I would. These people have no experience in handling animals. When brought to attention and tried to correct the horrible and unnecessary handling of our pet duck they dismissed our concerns. They took him away and held him like a dead chicken. Placed him in the xray room, we brought him in for limping a bit, we brought him in for a leg injury, and watching them put the machine to the duck ... read more

About a month or so ago I brought my budgie in to get evaluated because he was puffing up and was acting odd. I was told he was acting fine when he was checked in and the vet said she didn't see any red flags. She said to keep an eye on him and if we brought him in again they would wave the $200 emergency fee. Fine. Shortly after my budgie collapsed and I called back. I asked if I could bring him in to see the same vet because my emergency fee can be waived for an issue I already brought him in for. The receptionist sa... read more

Completely lacking any sort of empathy. First of all, I have had multiple issues with this vet for about a year now and refuse to take any of my birds here due to the unprofessionalism and lack of empathy. But this is the icing on the cake. I called and left a message as one of my friend's macaws escaped their home a couple days ago in Redmond (not super far away). I gave identifying characteristics and just asked them to call us if anyone brought in a macaw they found. I did this because not only are they one of few avian... read more

I had a VERY negative experience with Dr. Bennet and my blue tongue skink some time ago. My complaint was never addressed and to this day I would NEVER advise anyone with a blue tongue skink to come here. There are multiple reviews that Dr. Bennet has been "rough with animals" and that's what my poor lizard experienced: rough, improper handling, and misinformation to boot. This is often the go-to recommended vet in local reptile groups, which is why I am speaking up. If you keep any reptile less common than a bearded dragon... read more

Two times now, I have a brought my pets to you on an emergency basis. Two times you have recommended surgery that was the "best course of action" at the time. Two times I have walked away with a large bill and a dead pet. The first time I was understanding, my ferret needed a serious intestinal surgery to survive a few years ago. She was already weak and this was a lot of stress to put on her. BUT THERE IS ZERO REASON WHY MY BIRD WITH A FRACTURED LEG DID NOT COME HOME THIS PAST THURSDAY. Your ER vet made a bad judgment call ... read more

DON’T EVER BRING YOUR PET HERE! Even in an emergency situation where there are no open vets and your friend is on the verge of death, I’d recommend not going to this vet and just letting your him/her die snuggled in your arms than in this place they supposedly call a “vet” I took my guinea pig here about 2 months ago. He suddenly was very lethargic so I tried to schedule an emergency vet with my usual veterinarian but they were fully booked and this was the only vet that could take emergency appointments. I brought my guine... read more

Significantly overpriced compared to other exotic vets and emergency vets. Despite seeing guinea pigs every day, they know next to nothing about them. I'd rather take my guinea pigs to an inexperienced dog & cat vet than take them to CBEAM. They like to add stuff to their visit without your consent, like giving your pet fluids with no explanation, and charge you for it. They're wishy-washy with diagnoses and too quick to euthanize. And apparently, they'll claim anyone who leaves a bad review has "never been a client," so the... read more

They misdiagnose, over charge, and do NOT listen to their costumers. Not to mention, they are quick to suggest euthanasia to everyone. I've had such a horrible experience with my pet, I'm currently looking for another exotic vet near me.

Ill keep it simple. They are extremely expensive and they are animal killers. They will most likely do surgery and then say the animal didn’t make it or they’ll go straight for the easy route and say you’re pet needs to be put down. GET A SECOND OPINION PEOPLE. DON’T TRUST THEM. Prepare to spend over $300 on a simple visit.
