I joined the edge, only a couple of months ago. I recently have been very disappointed. First off I have moved to a new location for school and don't have an edge around me(over 20 miles) away which on the contract it says that you can cancel your membership if you move within 15 miles of an edge fitness center. Secondly within the last two months I have gotten 2 maintenance charges one for 50.00 and one for 40.00 just recently. I was never informed for the second charge. Now it seems when you have a problem with this place they want to make every excuse in the book and then stop answering your emails and promising to give you a call to talk about it but never actually calling you! If I were any of you looking for a gym I'd certainly not join edge, not professional in any way shape or form.
So far have been disappointed. It's clean and has a lot of equipment.. it's not very crowded at the hours I go.. and it's always open early which is great. That said, the classes are less challenging than I am typically used to. Someone recommended I try Strong classes. I looked into it and to take them- it would be $100 a month... the gym I just came from was $30 a month and had challenging classes. Good equipment and clean, but very busy and the sauna has been broken ever since I joined. Disappointed.

For what they did for hyping up this gym, I'm a little disappointed. I've been coming since the first week they opened and this place has gone down hill extremely fast. This company is clearly focused on growing and gathering an extreme amount of memberships. Because of this they are clearly not focusing on the quality of this gym for its members. Parking is an issue and the staff needs to be educated on guest passes. The staff is also not very friendly
So today is their grand opening. My boyfriend signed up this morning, and he said I have a free pass come with me later. As a loyal planet fitness member I just rolled my eyes and agreed. So I came with the intention of giving it a try, doing some cardio. HAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! So I live on the border of CT and was told that because I had an out of state license that it was a $10 day pass. This place is garbage. I bought a membership and a bunch of stuff doesn't work. Im going to request a refund.
Staff is clueless regarding the sauna repair. All the staff seems to care about is signing up new clients. I am amazed that they charge an annual fee for maintaining equipment when everything must be under warranty for the next few years. Might they be saving on maintenance by not bringing the sauna online? I wonder what is next? Let the buyer beware at this place.
