Nice place but is not 24/7 .... I wish it could be open 24 hours .... they kick you out on Friday at 9:00 pm at list at 12 will be nice

BRING YOUR OWN PAD LOCK( they got rid of the door locking system because people kept forgetting their code) I have been the edge once or twice with a mate of mine before, but "the gym" in Ridgefield closed and I was forced to look for alternative options, I have heard a lot about the looming contracts but I am intending to stay here for a while, the facilities are amazing, especially coming from my gym in Ridgefield, they have every machine you could image, but the one thing I do have to say is there is a shortage of squat r... read more

Wow what a place. You can't find any gym like this, best gym around!! Great equipment and even greater staff!!! I don't just come here everyday for nothing

I have been using this gym for 2 years now. The facility is very clean. Staff is nice and helpful if needed! The changing/ shower areas (the women's) are always clean. Cleaning staff are very nice too. Would definitely recommend!

Definitely one of the better Edge Fitness Clubs locations regarding the facility as a whole. Very spacious and clean. You won't feel cramped while working out. The locker rooms, however, could use some work. The motion sensors for the sinks are quite literally underneath the faucet and they're too sensitive. You have to put your hand right under it to get the water to flow. It has to be your hand. A toothbrush or a cup will not set off the sensor. The shower heads could fare well with an update. Great gym, great equipment, good atmosphere most of the time. It does get pretty busy during peak hours. Wish this was a true 24/7 gym, I need to get there at odd hours to get the most out of my time. It's a good start just hope it's not the end. Seems like gyms set up and never evolve, that's why the die. New equipment is always coming out, much has already changed since this gym opened. I read all the reviews on the Edge Danbury and cannot believe how self righteous and entitled some people are. Most of the negative reviews are from people who are not even members, so seriously people. What do you really know about the place. You didn't get the freebies you wanted and you're pissed off, or the gym was a little busy when you decided to visit during their busiest hours. How awful. There are 0 hidden fees. I'm a member of the Edge in Danbury, and while this gym is not expensive and great for actually getting into shape, they really need to address the real issue - its always SO crowded that real gym devouts have to go at odd hours to avoid the crowds. I hope in the future they expand the gym to accommodate for their growing membership.
