The gym has a clean environment, and I enjoyed my time there. However, please be aware that the contract is binding for the entire term you signed up for. They do not allow cancellations unless you call ABC. They will only cancel your membership if you have moved out of the country, which seems quite unusual. I wouldn't sign up again, but they do have a great massage chair. I would recommend this gym for those who are not working, as it tends to get crowded later in the day.

The Fairfield Edge has been declining in value for 2+ years. It's overcrowded throughout most times of the day-- outrageously so after 4pm. , from middle schoolers (unaccompanied) through high schoolers, these generally rude members crowd the equipment and have little idea about sharing the machines while they take 5-10 minutes rests (looking at their phones, typically ). The Edge Fitness is nothing more than a criminal enterprise, do not under any circumstances sign a membership with them. I signed a contact years ago, and moved away. They bilked me for thousands of dollars, even though I showed them proof of a new drivers license and multiple updated billing addresses. Edge Fitness exercises fraud at the finest level, don't be stupid like me and fall for their scam.

SCAM ....ITs all sales , after signing the contracts I thought I was on a monthly payment of$39 ,,,,, my credit card was billed at $339 . I called to tell them about the mistake and they basically said , you signed the paper sucker , nothing we will help you with !!!! They snuck in some personal training sessions for 3 months . Be Careful . They try to sell you everything they can .

This gym is way too busy. You can never have space to train. Also all the cables never have grease. It's also just gross, The sauna is never clean no one follows procedures for being sanitary. It's just not ideal. There's so many nicer gyms around.

Where do I start? I never write reviews but this nightmare of a facility left me no choice. I've been a member here for 5 years. Up until covid it wasn't too bad but as soon as the pandemic came to a close, its been getting worse, and worse, and worse. Naturally, anytime after people get out of work the gym is going to be crowded. However, unless you are there as soon as it opens, this gym is packed all day everyday. I live nearby so it's very convenient for me to run to the gym. However, over the years it has become an extension of Fairfield Prep and Fairfield U students chilling with their friends for happy hour. Sometimes it's impossible to finish your workout under an hour. If you've ever dreamed of having penis germs all over you this is the place. I've seen way too many dudes use the urinals and go back to lifting without washing their hands.

This gym had gone soo far down hill in the last few years ! It like going to happy hour w everyone "hanging out" and just there for a social event rather than working out. Too many kids just there to be w there friends, no clue even how to work out. Managers need to walk the floor and escort anyone not working out right out the door!

Go elsewhere. To cancel, they want a doctors note, and they still withdraw the monthly payments and yearly fees from your bank. Sure, you might get a reply to your review, but it's bogus. They've known you're trying to cancel for months. Everyone has this same problem.
