I am very disappointed in Edge Fitness of Manchester and Edge as a whole. Everybody with Edge should check their bank accounts and keep account of it. Currently I am dealing with money coming out of my bank account and the gym can't account for it. I've given bank statements called all the right ppl and still they have no idea where it's coming from. The Edge Gym in Fairfield has deteriorated in recent months -- very poor service with workers who are untrained and incompetent. Equipment is often in disrepair and local management and workers do nothing about complaints. Bathrooms are always filthy, with showers and sinks not working, and standing water on the bathroom floor. Poor attitude from staff . Understandable why people are leaving and going down the road to Equinox.

Worst phone customer service and once you are a member, they will make it impossible for you to cancel. I moved out of state on Dec 4 and called to cancel the membership, they charged me 2 months of membership because of their 45 day cancellation policy, which I get. asked to get a copy of the drivers license to show new address but then would give me a hard time because they didn't think the license was issued recently enough for me to prove that I moved, after fighting back and forth they finally let me cancel the membe... read more

REALLY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. the day pass they offer does not apply to out of state individuals. Management really sucks. If I ever moved to CT that's not a gym I'll be a member to. They will not get my money.

The bottom of gyms. This gym is so dirty you can't touch anything or use the showers. In addition, the company they use for billing is horrible. Hundreds of people are leaving and paying 5x the price up the street that goes to show you how bad it is the fact people would pay 5x for a clean gym.

Lately broken equipment isn't being repaired, or the repair people are overwhelmed. And, in particular, the video equipment really goes unrepaired. Maybe, they can't repair video equipment, or they just don't care.
RIP-OFF ALERT!!! Do not sign up for a membership here unless you feel like wasting vast amounts of time getting redirected, misinformed and ignored by their financial arm, ABC Financial. They use this relationship to fend off customer complaints about continued billing despite cancellation in hopes that you give up and keep paying. Many people do. Eventually, I had to cancel my credit card because of their tactics...it was the only way to stop the theft from continuing. Be smart...go somewhere else.

I've been going for years to this location. Lately, it's insanely crowded at 5:30 am. It feels like 4 in the afternoon. Yet I look at the "personal training" area, usually empty and off limits to the regulars. And then look at all the personal trainers taking up space with their clients in the regular area. If you are going to have restricted areas for personal trainers, have your trainers stay there. If not, give that space to the rest of us, the gym needs it. The weight room needs to be expanded.
