I am so angry after my recent encounter at The Edge. Where do they get their staff? My brother signed up for a 2 month membership which he got for a discount rate of $49 because he is in town for the holidays. Since my Dad has been a long-time member and my brother is now going, I decided to buy the 2 month deal because I am living here for the short term while I apply for jobs and get surgery. Billing is a HUGE issue when I tried to cancel my membership. I am a student and I wanted a 3 month student membership. They signed me up for an annual membership and now I am having HUGE problems cancelling. I had to provide them with my school transcript and a copy of my paid tuition bill and they still have not cancelled my membership and now are calling me for collections. I am very frustrated and don't know how to cancel this. NEVER Sign up for this club.
Do NOT give them your credit card info until you completely understand exactly how to cancel. I've been trying to cancel for 60 (SIXTY) days now. As I type this, i am sitting on hold with the financial company that does their billing. ITS REDICULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Worst gym ever. Staff is horrible. Machines are old low budget equipment and broken a lot of the time. Gym is in the basement. No windows. Trainers are in bad physical shape and just lounge around talking. Bathrooms are clean but are always out of soap, and I have never seen the machines being cleaned EVER no matter what time of day I work out. Spinning class ok but room is too small. Good yoga class.
