Very unprofessional. I went to sign up with my boyfriend and they NEVER informed us of their exact fees and I got charged with extra money after 3 months of being a member. When I called to discuss the amounts of money taken out of my account they informed me a female signed me up, but it was a guy. Just because I signed a contract for a year Otherwise I would of cancel my membership ASAP. Also, it's always crowded, there's no air ventilation. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS GYM!!!
There trainers are amazing five stars but It's supposed to to be an amazing deal to join, buyer beware Phantom charges labeled " administrative fee or custodian fee, will start showing up along with misc manual upkeep. If your gonna join beware, if you have already joined watch your bill. That said Personal trainers are the best in the business.
They did a really good job taking pictures for this place, cause maaaannn I'll tell you it's small. Small and hot, felt like I stepped into a cramped subway train. Literally preparation dripping from the mirrors by the free weights. First time going there were 3 edge fitness desk guys working, yet none of them could sign me up. The only one that could was busy signing up a different couple, so they let me work out for free and THANK GOD cause this basement gym is horrible. Yes I said basement gym because it is infact in a ba... read more
Hidden fees, pushy sales staff, crowded basically at all hours. The 'free' personal training when you sign up is just another manipulative tactic to get you to sign yet another contract and commitment. Besides that, it's clean, has a great selection of equipment; however, the squat rack is constantly in use by one dude for hours, so actually getting your squats and deadlifts in can be a challenge. Just a heads up. They charge 6 more a month then advertised (at least for my package). And once a years they charge you another... read more
I don't know what the other reviews are talking about with hidden fees and the staff being unfriendly. My two stars comes from how outdated and dark it is in there. Compared to the other clubs this one is less than optimal for working out. Considering the area and demographic I expected better.
I used a free 1 day pass for a friend to help me with my strength training workout and the general manager asked us to leave in the middle of it! He said he was watching on the cameras (creepy) and we violated their no training policy. I cancelled my membership! I should have listened to my friends who told me there are much better gyms than this one!
Was out of the country and put my account on a hold. They started charging my account without my authorization totaling in over $200 in charges. Nice gym, but not acceptable to charge my account with out my consent.
I keep receiving flyers for their "$9 a month" membership, and have tried to join the gym twice. The first time, I tried to use a "free week pass," but the membership guy gave me a day pass and told me "not to worry about it." That completely turned me off. A year late, I called to give them another shot. When you look into the details, and ask specific questions, there is no real membership at that price - buried in the fine print is a $150 initiation fee, a processing fee, an annual fee, which all adds up. When I asked to ... read more
This gym used to be okay even though it is small, but the Edge (1) went to $10 a month so now it is overcrowded, (2) they have too many trainers using up a lot of the equipment and (3) now, one of the most idiotic things they could possibly do is to have a boot camp class at 6 in the morning roped off in the workout area (turf and rubber floor) that takes up 1/3 of the space and eliminates the ability to use the wall, which was installed for members to use as a workout vehicle (wall tosses or handstands). That area is very ... read more
