The Edge Fitness Club in Meriden is one of the cheaper options in the area advertising for just 10 bucks a month. Although this price is great for what the gym offers BEWARE. First of all, most of the staff is lackluster at best with there response to any member requests or complaints. When complaining about the constant 30 minute wait on tanning. *WARNING* some misrepresentation as to what is actually "included" not "available" with the membership! I was told by a "manager" (Cindy) at this location that child care is included in the higher membership I was going to sign up for purely for the reason child care would be included only to find out a moth later that it is not! Its $5 every time you bring your child which she so conviently neglected to tell me even though its the one reason I came in.
