DO NOT OPEN A MEMBERSHIP HERE!! They will never let you cancel!! I mistakenly opened a membership for my husband and I - we went once and were not impressed.. then we moved out of town so I called to cancel, sent emails and requested documentation.. that was August of last year.. to this date they are still taking money out of my account and refusing to refund me or cancel my membership!! Worst customer service ever!! DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING FOR THEM !!

When I signed up they LIED about cancellation. I'm from California and only lived in CT for 8 months. And when I signed up they told me I could cancel because I have a California license already because I would be moving back to my house so I wouldn't have new bills or a new address or anything. They definitely lied and wanted commission from me signing up and made me pay $100+ to cancel. Im a student and I don't have money to just through away. I'm so disappointed in how disrespectful they were.

Edge commented on my bad review and said to email them because they wanted to make things write. Silly me, I emailed them. Instead of "making things right," they literally found another way to tell me that I had been late on payments and they were not at fault. Like I stated before, this company had taken my card information multiple times. Every time they told me my card didn't work, I would call and they wouldn't have my card info saved correctly. Don't waste your money! The gyms are super crowded and you have to wait to use machines unless you go very very late in the day. Also a couple times I just walked in to use the gym and an employee basically harassed me to use a personal trainer which they want you to get one because it's insanely expensive and would mean more money for them. Signed up about a year ago. They said I could use other debit card to buy drinks and shakes with, that's it. so one month my checking account did not have the proper funds to execute payment so they went to my other ( shake only debit card to take monthly dues that they said they would never do. This happened over and over causing me bounced and over draft fees I didn't know was going on. Hence they send me to collections. About 2 months ago they send me amnesty for collections. Don't go to the gym or any other Edge gyms. After quitting the club via phone call email and a return email from their financial system they still went ahead and auto renew my membership. This is a rip-off.
Go here if you want an incredibly difficult parking situation, cardio equipment that is frequently broken, a freezing locker room. You'll probably get scammed by their financial company and as an added bonus get the hard sell from an unfit trainer trying to get you into personal training package and/or their dot fit supplements. This place is ridiculous! I was in a car accident 16 months into my 2 year contract and called and said I could no longer use the gym. They stated that I had to complete my contract term and I agreed. I called back two months before the contract ended and told them AGAIN that I wasn't going to be renewing - they said they were sorry to see me go but they understood. The employees are rude, management does not care about your problems, the personal trainers and their sales team are running the EXACT same SCAM made notorious by LA Fitness. Goto this gym if you want to, be scammed if you want to, but you are better off at planet fitness or club 24
